Ask about my "Mega Lesson".
1 hr + Lesson geared toward the needs of the student.
We record the lesson so you can refer to it when needed.
In addition to teaching students "what" to practice,
I also teach them "how" to practice.
I give students enough in an hour to keep them busy for a month.
When the student is ready we set up the next lesson.
This plan works well because it allows the student to progress at their own speed.

I also teach guitar classes for first time players.
I taught 8th grade guitar classes for 10 years, and developed a 10 lesson starter class for beginners that worked extremely well.
The class as a whole moved faster than most of the individual private students I've taught. I think when one or two in the group start to learn a simple song it causes the rest of the class to "step up".
It becomes the inspiration to practice.
The minimum class size is 5 students and the maximum is 10.
The cost is $15 per student.

Stuffy Guitar  <----some lesson material

Location

Classes are taught in Chesterfield County near Chippenham and Route 10.

Basic Beginning Guitar

Students learn basic chords, strum patterns and song forms.
Guitars available for rent or purchase if needed.

Advanced Guitar TBA Depending on the needs of the student.

 Home School General Music Class

Students will begin to learn how to sing in a chorus and apply rhythm instrumentation in a group.   Singing in a chorus develops "group" skills and self-confidence.  It helps refine internal pitch and teaches proper breathing and ensemble singing skills.  Use of a variety of percussion instruments will help to develop rhythmic abilities.  Through the music studied, students will be exposed to some music history and theory.
